On 9/28/2022, my life along with the lives of my family and friends changed forever due to Hurricane Ian.  As

I was sheltering in my home for the entire storm and went through both eyewalls; I experienced 150 mph plus winds, storm surge of well over 8 feet and tornadoes.

There is now devastation everywhere I look. Not only is my home damaged, but almost everyone I know was impacted.  Our lives will never be the same and our community is hurting. So many ask how they can help and I ask you to please consider donating to this non-profit that I have personally been involved with for a few years.  Monetary donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.  With this organization; we will be able to help so many  people get back to a new normal life as soon as possible.

Thank you for helping my community recover.

Hurricane Dorian was the most intense tropical cyclone on record to strike the Bahamas, and is regarded as the worst natural disaster in the country's history.[1] It was also one of the most powerful hurricanes recorded in the Atlantic Ocean in terms of 1-minute sustained winds, with these winds peaking at 185 mph (295 km/h). In addition, Dorian surpassed Hurricane Irma in 2017 to become the most powerful hurricane on record in the open Atlantic region, outside of the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico
